The National Center for Health and the Aging recognizes the value of business partners to enhance our core offerings, and has developed a number of strategic relationships with industry-leading organizations.

Each of our strategic partners share our commitment to address the widespread lack of access to basic health care to the medically under-served, and to provide innovative and high quality solutions to the health care delivery system. The following are some of our partners:

The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) is the United States government’s principal agency for protecting the health of all Americans and providing essential human services, especially for those who are least able to help themselves. HHS represents almost a quarter of all federal outlays, and it administers more grant dollars than all other federal agencies combined. HHS’ Medicare program is the nation’s largest health insurer, handling more than 1 billion claims per year. Medicare and Medicaid together provide health care insurance for one in four Americans.

Comprising six bureaus and nine offices, HRSA provides leadership and financial support to health care providers in every state and U.S. territory. HRSA grantees provide health care to uninsured people, people living with HIV/AIDS, and pregnant women, mothers and children. They train health professionals and improve systems of care in rural communities.
